The 3D vision seminar in februari was a great success! We see a growing interest for submicron 3D area scan technology, embedded stereovision, high speed lasertriangulation and other 3D systems that we provide.

This month senseIT will be involved in the following projects:

• DORA - Digital Operating Room Assistant
Together with the university Delft, senseIT will participate in a 3 year governmental project to develop a monitoring system system for automatically checking the precence, positioning and status of the equipment and informs the OR personnel about irregularities.

• High speed 3D scanner
SenseIT is in the final phase of a an embedded high speed 3D sensor for a robot integrator specialized in the fruit and vegetables packaging industry. With 450 frames per second and 1ms of cycletime per image, a 3D scan is generated and 3d features are provided to the robot controller for further handling.

VRmagic cameras fully support Labview from Matworks. A custom adaptor lets users interface directly to VRmagic's devices with the Image Acquisition Toolbox.
Moreover, this month the intelligent multi sensor will support realtime binarization and RLE encoding on the FPGA for embedded high-speed lasertriangulation.
